We have a flock of Icelandic Sheep, which we raise for their wool.
We have 3 guardian llamas on our farm, one of whom was born on the farm in August 2018.
Our heritage breed of happy hens have consistent access to the outdoors and always have fresh grass, fresh air, and sunlight. This means the eggs they lay are “pasture-raised,” nutrient-rich, quality, great-tasting eggs. Movable fencing lets us rotate the birds onto fresh grass while keeping predators out. Our hen houses are built on wheels, providing the hens a safe place to lay their eggs, get shelter from the rain, and roost at night. Our birds are never treated with antibiotics, hormones or other medications and the grass. There are no growth-promoting additives in their feed.
